Il Drago Lionessa is shaping herself into a little freak as she matures and comes together. Very true to the FDA in her background, she is short and bully & has a sensitive and truly loving temperament. Her head reminds me of her father so much she's like his little heiress. She is full of spunk & like her litter mates, afraid of nothing. I'm really excited to see her grow up, she's named after her grandmother Africa. Africa was an Italian import from Stradone kennels. She was one of our lines great influences, and I always wanted to give her homage via one of her descendants. I also want to see how her other ancestors that we have owned & bred help shape her, Il Drago Mantra, which was Divine's sire, such a clown, he seems to have reappeared in Il Drago Lourdes who is the littermate sister to Lionessa. Adamo di Lapillo, Galiano's sire & Lion's grandsire, bred by us & very dear to my heart, so laid back & gentle. His dam, CH Galiana who was the sweetest girl I ever owned. We are planning to breed Lion in April 2010 to MBISS CH Bruno della Vecchia Roma, who also happens to be the #1 Neapolitan Mastiff in 2008, 2009 & 2010, and is also a Ferdinando son.
