Handling
Contract
This contract is executed on
______________ between Cassandra Boczar, herein called Handler and
______________________________________, herein called Owner, residing
at:___________________________________________.
The handler and owner
enter into and agree to the terms and conditions as set forth by this contract.

1) Current proof of vaccinations will be
provided to handler. All dogs handled must have Parainfluenza, Parvo, Corona,
Rabies, Hepatitis & Lepto vaccinations plus an intranasal Bordatella vaccine
given every 6 months & the dog must be current on heartworm preventative.
2) A feeding
schedule will be given and all foods, supplements & medications will be
provided to the handler by the owner, as well as any important info pertaining
to habits, fears, traveling, caging, grooming, etc.

At the time of contract signing, owner & handler will agree upon goals for
the dog’s show career. This may be to achieve a championship, a group
placement, or national ranking. The goal may be revised during the course of the
contract, but only with the agreement of both parties.
4)
Handler agrees to take good and reasonable care of dog. This includes proper
housing, feeding and both physical and emotional needs, necessary to maintain
the dogs health. The handler agrees to take extraordinary precautions with the
safety of the dog while traveling, at the kennels & at the show site. The
owner agrees to hold the handler harmless for any accidental injury or loss of
the dog incurred during the normal function of boarding, traveling or handling.

The handler reserves the right to determine if the services of a veterinarian
are required. All vet fees are the responsibility of the Owner.
6) The handler
shall put the client’s/owner’s interests before her own. The handler agrees
per any given show she shall take no more than one client per breed class, two clients
per group & 5 clients per show. All dogs will receive equal treatment to the
best of the handlers ability, but in a case of scheduling conflict, priority
generally will be assigned on the basis of length of contract and the status of
a dog achieving its set goal. In all cases, the handler’s judgment regarding
which dog takes priority is the final word.
7)
Entries will be made by the owner except in such cases as the owner specifically
turns that duty over to the handler, in which case the owner will pay entry fees
in advance, including fax or phone entry charges, or provide a major credit card
number for billing purposes. The owner is responsible for paying for all photos.
All prizes and awards will go to the owner.
8) Owner agrees

9)
A deposit of 30% of the estimated bill is due 1 week before the scheduled show.
This deposit will be deducted from the balance due and is absolutely
non-refundable under any circumstances even if the owner should withdraw the
above named dog. Expenses, including mileage, housing & meals are charged on
an averaged basis and divided among the traveling dogs. The amount is
predetermined per trip and added to the bill. All handling fees and costs are
due upon the receipt of the handler’s billing statement, which will be mailed
immediately to the owner following the event.
