Il Drago Incognegro of Maximum

Il Drago Incognegro, AKA "Negro" is from the last litter of my beloved CH Il Drago Galiano. He was bred by Mindy at Maximum Mastiffs and is out of an Il Drago Mantra daughter, CH Maximum's Daphne. He had his fathers head type, short square muzzle. His temperament was mush which I personally prefer in a male Neo. His ears were cropped kinda late, so I had a very short crop done on him. He was short, stocky, wrinkled mess. In September of 2010 he had a serious health threat and almost died from a blood disorder triggered by the use of the topical flea medicine PROMERIS. This product is made by Fort Dodge & is highly toxic to animals. The fact that it is on the market at all is astonishing. His recovery was slow steady & truly miraculous. Unfortunately, we lost Negro to bloat on 4-30-11 the day after his first show. This is a severe loss for our kennel, he was our only son of CH Galiano, and we had hope for using his strong head type in our program. Sweetest, lovingist Neg, you are missed each time I look in your empty kennel, each time I look at your sister Lion's little black babies, I hope there is one even close to as endearing as you were.
